Grenoble—Day 2
Today was our second full day. It is a holiday so many shops are closed. We took this opportunity to find a public laundry and do a load of wash. Afterward, we walked the center of the city and enjoyed winding our way along the narrow streets of the old town. It was a quiet day for us and Grenoble as lots of folks extended today's (Thursday) holiday through the weekend.

Our complimentary breakfast, like the one at Silberhorn in Lauterbrunnen, is quite substantial. Lots of options and a fabulous coffee machine. |

Gotta love the Internet. We found a public laundry two blocks from our hotel where it cost $7.80 to wash and dry a load. Our hotel charges $8.50 to launder one shirt. |

More street life. As you can see, it's quiet—you can tell it's a holiday. |

The washing machine instructions were pretty straight forward. |
