Cork—Tuesday

 April 16th

Today was a lay about day, because we've seen all there is here in Cork City. We visited the Tourist Information Centre to make sure we've seen it all and...we have. So today we just hung out at our hotel after walking around town (again) and spending some time at the library reading the local newspapers. Around 4PM we walked down to Gallagher's for a beer and an early dinner.

We leave Wednesday morning for Killarney.

The main aisle at the library.

We were surprised to see this tractor
driving down Summer Hill Road
right into the middle of town.

We shared a mushroom ravioli and the
scrumptious bang bang cauliflower we
had last night. It's nice being in a town
long enough to discover a place that's
welcoming and serves good food.
We sat for two hours watching the
world go by before dinner.

These ladies spent about 20 minutes
chatting on the corner, clearly
enjoying themselves...

before calling it a night.

It occurred to me that I should take a picture of
a typical public bus.

*Doesn't seem possible but we walked 5.5 miles today.
